I received my new phone yesterday. I am unable to make or recieve calls. I am able to message but no phone calls. Can someone help please?

Is it an upgrade or a new contract @Sophie912?
If an upgrade, try your old sim in the new phone.
If a new contract, have you asked to move your number across?

@gmarkj thank you so much for coming back to me. It is an upgrade, old sim , new phone. It might jsut be that I'm being impatient, but if my memory serves me right, it should only take a few hours?

If you are using your old sim in the new phone it should all be fine.
The problem is complicated with the country-wide network outage though @Sophe912.
Once that clears up it should work, but we have no idea when that will be.
Did you do a sim swap? Those are taking longer than normal - sometimes a couple of days, but maybe a week or more....
