For context: I have a PAYG monthly tariff where I get 20GB data, unlimited texts, and unlimited calls. Any remaining data will roll over to the next month.
So, I purchased an Apple Watch (GPS + Cellular) the other day. I set it up following the instructions and everything seemed fine. When I clicked on Mobile Data on the Apple Watch App it informed me that “O2 does not currently support Apple Watch”.
I visited the O2 website and tried to find relevant info- it’s not particularly easy from my experience. Nothing of help. I then visited my local O2 store and was told to call the support team and get them to set me up an esim.
Having issues getting through and have seen contradicting information.
Anyone out there know what I could/should do?

You cant add an Apple Watch to a PAYG account, you need to be on a monthly contract.
So it wont work (nor will it on any network). You would be best looking at the likes of truphone for a standalone sim.
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
