@Bre1

"Not an O2 phone" just simply means that the phone was never locked in the first place.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi @Bre1,

The iPhone 11 should already be unlocked. Have you tried inserting another network sim inside to check?

You can also try unlocking the iPhone 11 on your MyO2 app. You'll need the phones IMEI to hand. Tap on 'support' in the bottom right-hand corner, and then 'unlock my device'.

If that fails, I'd recommend calling our customer services team on 202 from your current phone and let them know that the form you filled in didn't work.

Sorry what they actually say is that the IMEI number doesn’t match the number with them?

The IMEI - [Removed] has not been used on our network with the MPN
provided, so it will not be possible to unlatch it.

It's still not locked.
Just put a non O2 sim in it and away you go.

@Bre1, as @MI5 suggested, the phone is most likely unlocked.

The iPhone 11 also has two IMEI's - both printed on the back of the box and under settings on the phone.

@Bre1 O2 stopped locking phones in August of 2018. The iPhone 11 wasn't released yet. It's not locked.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@Bre1

If you type into the phone dialler *#06# it will display IMEI 1 and IMEI 2.

One is the physical sim and the other the eSim.
