Could anyone please tell me how to activate volt ?

On your MyO2, you should see the blue and red Volt offer - scroll to the relevant section (the "I am an O2 and a VM subscriber"), and enroll there - then wait 14 days and all should fall into place, @Adrian_A. The link @MI5 shared has all the grisly details if the registration fails.
