Newbie trying to activate extra

I’ve chosen to use the audible as an extra but when I try to log into my account (which I have had prior to joining o2 but not paid  into for a while) it just tells me that the account is not eligible for this offer. 
please can anyone advise?

You need to use a different email address to create a new account. 

Extras cannot be added to existing ones.
