Help. 75 year old technophobe here. Have just transferred to O2 with a new mobile Samsung A34. I'm having trouble sending and receiving text message. I have managed to send test messages to a couple of people on my contacts list successfully. However I couldn't reply to one person and couldn't receive replies from my contacts. I am very confused by the different tecxing apps that seem to be available.

 

Could someone please help explain to me which app I should make as my default for MMS / SMS text messages?

You need to set the Samsung Messaging App as the default.

One default messaging app for text messages and WhatsApp for picture messages.
