I usually unlock my phone with my fingerprint. Tonight I went to use my phone & fingerprint was no longer there but a request for a password. Don't know the password & there is no option for forgotten password. How can I get back into my phone?

@GillsF Phones with fingerprint readers always ask for a backup password when you're setting the phone up. A fingerprint is never the sole method of unlocking a phone. I know my phone periodically asks for a numerical password as a safety measure. If you never set a password try 0000.

You must have set a password when you set up your fingerprint.

All phones force that when setting up an unlock method of any type.
