My account states I've used almost all my monthly data allowance whilst my phone states I've used barely any. What's happening?

From which point does your data renew compared with when the phone starts counting?
If there not the same you can't really compare
This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
