Hello,

I've got my Galaxy Watch Ultra working with my Magic 7 pro mostly find aside from the data bit.

So it works via Bluetooth but I am wondering if the sake functionality as with the galaxy phones is possible, for example leave phone at home as long as it's on the watch will still be connected.

I want to try get this working as if not possible no point paying for the data.

Doesnt work properly with a non galaxy phone, as you need those devices to get full functionality...

I swapped my Galaxy watch for a Huawei GT6 Pro, as it works across all devices via bluetooth and last a lot longer without charging, and also isnt locked down to one device..

So my advice bin the data part, however if you bought the watch from o2, then you cant only have the device plan part..

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

@Willhub

as a minimum, you need to install the Galaxy wearables app on the phone

I've got that installed, the watch itself works perfectly fine with the phone, samsung health as well, the issue is the part where you're not connected via bluetooth, before it connects via the mobile network, I'm wanting to know if this is possible with a non-galaxy phone.

I  struggle to find the extra charges for connecting without the phone as being cost effective, especially with the annual bump in prices.

Not saying that's the same for everyone but I reckon you need to use it a lot.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
