My iPhone is not working in Croatia even though I received the welcome email from O2. I think my APN may be set up incorrectly to idata.o2.co.uk instead of mobile.o2.co.uk". Can I change this?
Thanks!

Yes you can change it. If you are on a contract and have an iPhone, when travelling abroad your APN should be changed to "mobile.o2.co.uk"

@HelenBS

You only need to change your apn when abroad if you don't have the iData bolt on activated on your account.

A compulsory change is only required if not and the correct fix is to have the iData bolt on added.

If your visual voicemail normally works in the UK it confirms you have it already so the issue with no data abroad will be down to the local network.

You can manually search for different networks to connect to, even ones that say forbidden.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
