I have been transferred toO2 by Virgin

Why have you switched of my 4G service I had this service from Virgin before they transferred my account and service toO2?

Try rebooting your phone and or reset your network settings.

When you say 4G are you referring to data?

Try doing a network reset on your phone

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
