wrong sim inserted cant remove

I have done a real stupid thing and inserted a nano sim instead of a micro sim in a samsung S4 and I can't remove it,and I am waiting on a number transfer to the sim,will it still work? or will I have to scrap the phone? thank you for any help

It may work if luckily it is making contact with the sim reader, however, equally it may not.

Can you get any small tweezers to try and pull the sim out?

Your local store may be able to do it for you if not or a local phone repair shop.

Fastest way if you have a store nearby is in store @Biscuit 

You'll walk out with a new working sim card.

Take ID with you though unless you can still receive a text to your old sim somehow?
