Solved: using phone abroad

HI,

I'm going to holland for 10 days and would like to know what is the cheapest way to use my phone while i'm there please?

I have an i phone so i'm used to being able to check e mails, facebook e.t.c on a regular basis and would like to do this while we are away.

Hi,

The cheapest way would be to turn off 3g and Mobile data and use free wifi where you can.

Also turn voicemail off before you leave the Uk to avoid roaming call charges.

It is 1760 to turn off and 1750 to turn Voicemail back on.

Or purchase a local sim card while your there.

If your iphones locked then get it unlocked via this form.

its free for contract customers and £15 for PAYG.
