My wifes phone is not receiving all calls and texts. If i sit at the side of her and ring from my ee iphone, it goes straight to voicemail. Why is this happening? our daughters cant even get in touch with her after school either. Its not her phone becouse our daughters have an i phone 4 and 4s, both on o2, clearly an o2 fault! c'mon o2 whats going on? i might have to move all 3 of them to EE so they can contact each other when school finishes. Oh by the way, we are actually paying for this appalling lack of service.

If a mast is down it will be repaired as quickly as possible. It's not in O2's interest to have customers unable to use their phones. No network will ever guarantee 100% uptime. Once the problem is resolved you can call Customer Services and tell them that you've had a problem. It's possible that you might receive a goodwill gesture to compensate you for the down time, but that would be discretionary. They're not obliged to give you anything.

If the iPhone 4 and 4S both on O2 are working, why do you think this is an O2 fault? It sounds from your description of the probem that the xperia is faulty. Have you tried to do a soft reset of the phone or cleaned the sim card?

sorry i missed a bit, it meant to say  theirs are doing it too. I cant get texts or calls to any of them intermitently. Sometimes ok, sometimes not, then they get texts a few hours later. They can't communicate between themselves either.

How ignorant and rude to someone who is trying to help you. Smiley Indifferent

O2 often give goodwill gestures as we see them reported here on the forum, and they don't have to give you anything.

Let's hope you can move to a company where nothing ever breaks down, good luck with that.

No, I don't work for O2. I'm a customer, just like you. Anyone who contributes to this forum who works for O2 identifies themselves in the signature on their posts. If you get better service from Orange/EE, move all your phones to them. No one is forcing you to stay with O2.
