Yes it will, Israel runs on the GSM 900/1900 network for 2G voice services.

Thanks, that was quick. Had just managed to speak to someone as well. I did call ino a o2 shop this afternoon but they said it didn't as dual band only works in Europe, but I wasnt convinced with their response.
