roaming messaging charges even though didnt message

Hi

I am in abroad currently. And not using O2 SIM but using local SIM. But every now and then for every 2 or 3 days I keep O2 SIM( by keeping data roaming OFF) in device and check for any missed calls. However I could notice roaming messages charges from number 0780200332 being applied in my bill with £0.41 each time I keep SIM on device even though I never made any messages. Can anyone help me on this?

Settings >Messages Turn off iMessage

How to turn off VVM?

Change your data apn to "mobile.o2.co.uk" which will disable it but remember to switch back to "idata.o2.co.uk" when back in UK.
