Solved: o2 charged my credit card twice but I didn't compl...

Hi guys

I placed an order for an ipad as an existing customer with £29.99 up front fee. When I got to checkout, o2 wanted a £450 deposit, so I cancelled the order, I've just checked my pending transactions and there's 2 pending transactions for £29.99

Does anyone know if these are just held as pending and will be returned as I didn't complete the order, not sure why they've tried to take it twice

Yes, they are just flagged as reserved funds until you do complete.
If you don't complete the money will be released back to your account after 3 or 4 days.
Sometimes my online banking will show some payments twice if pending or in progress but I don't get 2 payments taken. It usually resolves after the banks systems update.

Normal practice from many other posts on here. They will be pending as holds and funds released back in a few days time to confim ring customer services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
