can you please tell me why is it I have no network connection 

this has never happened before and without this the phone is dead

which is really annoying me can you please advise.

have you checked to see if there are any known network issues in your area?

go to status.o2.co.uk and enter your postcode. Otherwise call O2 from a landline or another phone for them to check

what phone are you using?? and have you had this issue in your area before?? can your phone connect to wifi??
