I have a monthly SIM only contract which is still running. with O2.  I have set up a new contract with a new phone on a monthly contract basis for next 24 months and would like to keep my old number but understand that you cannot do that if you are on the same network.

I havent installed the new SIM card into new phone yet or told O2 that i wish to stop the old SIM only contract.

Please help!  Just need to know how to go about keeping my old number as really dont want to change it!

O2 will migrate your old number to the new account but it will end the old one.
If you still have term to run it will cost you to do this.
Call 202 for a full explanation of costs etc.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
