iPhone 6 order

I paid £49,99 to O2 on 26th September, it's now 21st October and I haven't seen my new iPhone. Can ANYONE tell me when I can expect it, and how O2 can justify taking money up front with the only communication being two text messages informing me of the obvious - ie it hasn't arrived yet?

What's going on???

Their has been recent threads where people have now been told its at processing stages which is jargon for out of stock.

Some issue stopping people upgrading which was a tech glitch and now they are having issues associating what colour of handset is in the box !

Ref the iPhone's launch and this is my hypothesis.

Apple tell O2 how many units they can have in each week etc. o2 then take pre orders and normal orders online. When they have used their allotment if apple can't send any more for whatever reason the orders online should reflect that or a temporary bar placed online to stop over ordering.

Unfortunately O2 won't do this as they want as many orders as possibke even if this means failed deliveries and a quantity of upset customers.

Again just my opinion for what it's worth.
