Hi,

What is the procedure for iPhone 15 Switch Up?

I notice in the small print that it has to be done in store because of the physical check up of the phone - so I guess queue at the O2 store on launch day?

You can preorder in store, which is what i did for the Pixel Fold, so get there on the day that it opens for Preorder and pay the refundable £50 deposit.

Then on the day of release you will get a message to come and collect the phone, and at that stage they will check the phones condition and if all is OK, then you walk away with your new phone slight_smile

Not entirely sure on that one @angeloedades

Perhaps @Dave-O2 or @Chris_K can confirm if there are any restrictions with new devices, or popular phones like the new iPhones?

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

I can confirm this is the process/procedure, and that with Switch Up there are no restrictions - essentially, if you have Switch Up, you're eligible to use it (eg, if you're on our 90 day terms then you won't be eligible until 90 days from when you joined or last Switched Up) and your device matches our grading criteria, then you're good to go.

Does pre-ordering have to be in store, or can I do it online?

If using Switch Up, it all has to be done in store, and the store will more than likely require a £50 refundable deposit.

Pre ordered the phone ….waited 2 months

went in to the store to do the switch up…waited 90 mins for a sales to only be told system error we can’t do it …come back another day and the system might let us ….oh we only hold your phone for 7 days so unless you can do the switch up in the next 2 days you will have to order a new phone which is another 6 week wait

this is a total con surely
