Hi,

 

What is the procedure for iPhone 15 Switch Up?

 

I notice in the small print that it has to be done in store because of the physical check up of the phone - so I guess queue at the O2 store on launch day?

Incorrect did you not read my comment?

 

o2 wouldn’t let me switch today after a 2 month wait due to a system error …only thing they can suggest is come back another day 

 

can’t keep going in to the store day after day ….besides they don’t have a phone in store to switch up to …they released mine as the deal wasn’t done today …it’s a 6 week wait for one to be delivered! 

I’ve waited 2 months already

Try a different store, @Bob64?  There is a long thread on here about the difficulties one person has had and the actions they are following to get it sorted - if I find it I will post it here.

A different store was my first thought but nearest is 30/40 min drive 

 

the problem isn’t the store, it’s an o2 problem unless your telling me the store lied to me ?

It has been known, @Bob64 ...

A different store may have a fully operational computer system... and more caring staff, perhaps?

I think its a global issue. as others have reported different stores having the same issue slight_smile

total shambles - hardly what I signed the contract for …

I can only speak as I have found since joining O2

 

4 interactions with my store - all awful 

 

1 attempt to switch up and a total disaster 

 

unable to speak with anyone in customer service 

 

I am sure plenty like the service and happy to defend them but it’s a disaster from my experience - totally regret signing up to O2

I was on about the issues been faced this weekend with the system outage.. 

My SwitchUps have all gone with out a hitch in store and with excellent staff in both (Barnsley and Meadowhell) but I have had issues post SwitchUp on 2 of them with the backend systems, and incompetent and useless Customer Services only by escalating up the chain did I get anywhere....

 

Trust me @Bob64  I have had major issues in the past with EE and Vodafone with regards to billing, and contracts they sold, and o2 are the best for me of the bunch...
