how to change tariff

I have just got a new o2 sim for my grandson and he only uses it to call when he nees us and to his mam sometinmes the tarif he is on now is not right for him I put £10 on yesterday and the bolt on took it off to pay for that so that meens that I will have to put that on every month the one he had before was calls and text for £15 so for a month he had free calls and tex then he could use the £15 the next month or longet untill it go low now he carnt how do I change the bolt on please

Hi @Anonymous I presume you have changed the tariff to either a big bundle or big talker? Check here https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go/ 

Both of those mean you top up each month. It would allow calls texts and data. The money is taken immediately.

The only way you can get the correct one or change this for your grandson is by ringing customer services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus 

If he only calls and texts you need the Basic tariff. You have to request this from Customer Services

You also may want to think about Tesco or Giffgaff. They use the O2 network but have a number of cheaper payg tariffs..

Change to big talker or o2 international in your MyO2
