Does any one know if o2 are offering extra free minutes because of the coronavirus lockdown. I know a lot of people who are in isolation struggling to keep within their minutes because of more telephone conversations. Sky customers are being offered free phone calls to landlines until the end of April and i think more companies should be doing this. Any information

All contracts are now unlimited minutes.
And along with support for vulnerable customers, O2 is lifting the cap on voice minutes to provide unlimited domestic calls for all pay monthly customers on consumer contracts.
Being introduced from the end of next week, the unlimited voice minutes relate to domestic calls only, and applies only to pay monthly consumer customers. O2 will continue to review this policy and alert customers before making any further changes.

Does anyone know what's going on with this please!? The article was in the Sun and other newspapers a couple of weeks ago but I can't see any change to my monthly contract.

You wont see any changes to your contract. It's only whilst the pandemic is with us.
As for The Sun, they are a bit late with the news. O2 announced it in their own newsletter
