@gadget

You reset it completely and remove the sim card.

You may need to pre order as the stores may not have huge stocks of the S24 so call ahead to check.

You can use your sim in any phone in the interim.

The store take the phone, clear your device plan and hand over your new phone.

Guide: Introducing O2 Switch Up. Swap phones whenever you want!

ahh its the s24 ultra that comes out on the 25th i believe

so can i stlll take it in tomorrow and they send  me the new phone on or after the 25th or is it better to go on the 25th ? i can swap the sim out and put it in another other for a day or so so being without a phone for 24/48 hrs is not a problem for me.

again its my first switch up so no idea of the process

thanks for your reply much appreciated

Sorry for another question but do you delete everything on the phone ie factory reset or do they need to access the phone and they delete everything afterwards  ?

They have changed the process on preorders. You you keep your phone and they send you a returns bag with your new phone. You then return it yourself:)
