can you transfer one pay and go to another pay and go number

Brought a Nokia 520 as a back up phone from cpw will be used on diff network but came with a o2 sim card,can I transfer my existing pay and go number on to the new pay and go sim keeping my tarrif (text and web) and my credit

It's called a sim swap.

Once you do this your original sim wiill be de activated.

Just 1 more thing when would be the best time to this over the weekend or Monday morning both old sim is micro and new sim is micro thanks for the reply

Gone ahead with the sim swap says it should take a hour but might be 24 if they are busy

The swap takes from a few minutes up to approx 24 hours.

Turn your phone off and on throughout this period to help the reset.

@Anonymous just to let you know sim swap went through ok took just on a hour and I got the £10 top up added to my credit which was a surprise anyway cheers for the help
