To add / SIM cards don't lock to phones.

He phone has to be open to all networks or locked to O2.

If the phone says NO SERVICE then it may be imei locked which is a bar placed on phones that have been reported lost or stolen.

This can happen with phones bought off auction sites in afraid.

A check on http://www.checkmend.com/uk/ will confirm this.

Hi

Is the phone open to use an O2 SIM card.

If your original sim won't fit in because it's a different size then pop to an O2 shop and they'll transfer your tariff and mobile number to a correct sized one.

They also have sim adapters that are free that makes a sim into some different sizes.

It sounds like you have bought a phone locked to another network. Try contacting the seller unless they have a no returns policy. You need to buy an unlocked phone or one that has been used on the O2 network.

This is impossible.

If the phone you have bought is not barred and is unlocked or on O2 it will workk.

If the phone is locked to Voda, EE or Three it will not work with your O2 sim card.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
