better tariffs for new customers?

Hi, I am going out of contact and there is an offer online

Now with 50% more data - 750MB instead of 500MB 500 O2 to O2 minutes 1 month early upgrade

but they tell me I cannot sign up for it because not available, is thsi correct do new customers get better contracts than loyal customers?

O2 are meant to operate a fair deal for new and existing customers, hence no more loyalty rewards. Whoever 'they' are didn't give you correct advice. I would do what Perksie suggests and call Customer Services and speak to someone directly.

It will depend on when your contract actually finishes and any early upgrade entitlement.

It could be that you have not reached the date you can upgrade to the new tariff you want.

thanks, it appears the team on the online chat dont have access to all the deals which is a bit strange but managed to find my way to a page where I could sign up online for the deal I wanted. thanks for the replys.
