automatically hang up

I am on the o2 4G unlimited plan which means I have unlimited calls and unlimited texts. But I am wondering that why my phone call is automatically hang up every 59 minutes. It says I have unlimited calls, so I think I can make a phone call as long as I want. It does not matter how long the phone call is, and the phone will not be hang up automatically. Also, I want to say, I cannot find anything about it in my contract. It's so weird to redial every 59 minutes.

Hi Chickenbrother and Welcome to the Community Forum ,

I dont know of any phone that has this as a feature so its possible theirs just a glitch in your phone itself.

Does this happen all the time on every call up to the time you state ?

You do not mention what phone you own so I can only suggest you google for how to 'soft' and 'hard' reset your handset. Be aware that a hard reset can delete saved data so make a back up first.

It could be worth contacting o2 Customer Services too just to have your account checked.

Contract : 202

Payg       : 4445.

I wonder if this is connected with the "industry standard" redial after 60 mins to avoid charges routine.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I'm fairly sure it's a standard system feature rather than a phone problem.

Yeah, I've never talked for that long either but I guess as jonsie says, its a standard feature slight_smile

Think the OP will need to speak to Uk Customer Services just to confirm this.

Hopefully they will update their thread so we all know the outcome.
