Why is there an advised 24 hour wait time?

Hello

Im just curious, but does anyone know why it takes 24 hours after cancelling an order to be able to reorder with o2? Is it the system or do other companies need to be notified of the cancelled order?

And why does it take 24 hours to swap numbers?

Is the 24 hours just a guideline so impatient people (like myself) can give o2 workers time to get through their job list and manually cancel the order?

Thanks

Some (Many) systems in O2 are not live, and usually update overnight, @Rulunajane20 - plus a bit of "padding".
