Paying device plan fail

Hello , I’m trying to pay off my device plan. 
I phoned o2 payment team on Thursday 7/11/24 and “paid” my device plan , the payment sat pending in my account for over 24 hours so I contacted o2 via the messaging function. I was told the payment was present and just allow time for it to process. 7 days later the payment was no longer in my pending section and the money was returned to my account. I paid off as much as I could online leaving £5.99. I then phoned Thursday 14/11/24 to re attempt payment, once again the money is just sitting pending and not showing on o2 website. Again the advisor said it will be done within 24 hours (which has elapsed). I’m sick of sitting in queues on the phone I’ve wasted 2 hours of my life trying to give them money , I can no longer use the chat function because I have sinse left o2 and my account only shows device plan details, whenever the website chat BOT tries to transfer to the app nothing happens. If I click on “manage account” in the support section of the app it just shows an error. What can be done to rectify this ?. Is there another number I can phone to get through to someone competent ? Thanks for any help.
