Why have I been sent a new sim card?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I recently changed to a yearly sim only contract. I've had confirmation that it's done and it's working fine. Why have I now been sent a new sim card? Must I insert the new one?

No just keep it as a spare. Changing esteem of tariff they do sometimes send a new sim in case you are changing phones.

The new sim is blank anyway so will be useless unless you instigate a sim swap.
