Voicemail Notifications Broken

Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone could help?
I am no longer receiving voicemail notifications on time. They can arrive upto 2 days after the messages were left if at all. I tried calling the O2 helpline, after spending 20 mins on the phone, they confirmed they would text me instructions; however they only sent me the initial steps.
Anyone experienced similar issues?

Try turning VM off and back on again Guide: All you need to know about O2 Voicemail 901 but you may have to ask customer services to reset your VM account.

Thanks.
Tried VM reset, some improvement, the notification still takes a long time and remains active after deleting the message. Looks like I will be calling the helpdesk again.
