Voicemail Notification

Hi,

I recently receieved a call form an unknown number so I declined it but they then left a voicemail - since i am a PAYG customer, i cannot/dont want to pay to receive this voicemail. There is also a notification on my phone which wont go away until i have listened to the voicemail or deleted it. I have tried disabling the voicemail and enabling it again but the notification is still there. I force stop the 'Phone' application which gets rid of it but as soon as i restart my phone, its back. I dont want to have to keep doing this as it may cause problems. Is there a way to clear the voicemail without having to pay for it so the notification goes away?

I tried the online chat but they said it cannot be done on the live chat - the support lines are also chargeable so i dont want to call these either.

Can this be fixed without paying?

**UPDATE**

I always thought I had to pay for voicemail - seems i dont, it just comes out of my bundle minutes. Might be best to let everyone know to set their voicemail number as 901 (which is also the default voicemail number). Problem solved.

No unfortunately you are going to have to listen to it to get rid of the notification.
Turn off vm by dialing 1760 afterwards so no one else can leave you any messages.
