It happened in April, for 3 weeks or more.
It probably will return but is not there now.
What the agent described to you was a Migration, described here Guide: Migration & porting into O2 but even that is a bit hit and miss for O2 at present. You can port to a giffgaff PAYG, then port over to your Uswitch SIMO probably more easily than trying to get it all done by O2. I would suggest waiting for a couple of weeks, see if the option to upgrade returns on the Uswitch SIMO when it is passed into your MyO2 Basket. Good luck @wakawaka123

It's not on USwitch or Money saving supermarket so has obviously been withdrawn for a while by O2

Why would migrating to giffgaff>O2 be easier than O2>O2?
Happy to wait a bit, as it's only £15 for my current sim (which is a lot still).
Is the migration still happening? Is that why it's the issue? I've read your link, but not sur what I'm looking at.

Sometimes, the long way around gets you there quicker, @wakawaka123 - eg: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Business-Customers/leaver-wants-to-keep-number-amp-phone-but-remain-wi...

thanks, but this sounds like Business>Consumer migration.
I have 2 numbers on my o2 account.
The number I'm refering to in this post is under my name anyway.
I dont think it's too important, as like I said, happy to wait for the option to show agian...hopefully soon.

Probably the best course of action, @wakawaka123 👍🏼
