I am trying to upgrade from a sim only contract to handset as my account says I can upgrade i try to but it says my order cant be completed I dont know if I have to wait 3 months as I only got the contract on the 15th April 2025

Your account will say you can upgrade, but only to a more expensive Contract from SIMO - otherwise you have to settle your contract value before proceeding.
Contact O2 via Social Media using either link below, @DB2332 - they should be able to help you complete the upgrade if that is what you really want to do. Good luck.
