If I upgrade my phone+sim contract to a new sim only contract. Can I activate through eSIM whilst in the EU? Just want to take advantage of prices before October when I'm back in the UK.

Thanks!

Your new contract will automatically update on whichever sim you are using currently.

I forgot to add. I'm changing phones though, since my phone is on the imminence of dying. Would prefer to use eSIM from now on on the new phone.

You can do that from your MyO2.

Personally I would stick the old plastic SIM in the new phone until at least returning to the UK

eSIMs and O2 are not a good combination going on people's experiences.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Yes, I understand. What I mean is by currently being in the EU.
