hi I've just upgraded my contract & separately added another 12month to my account but can't see it on my account or in my orders, Am I doing something wrong?

If accepted for the new contract, it can take 24 hours for it to show.

You need to call O2 if you want to check Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
