Hi Group. I’m looking to upgrade my phone (I have £134 that I will pay off of the phone) but I also want to transfer the account to a business one and keep the same number.

I am just wondering a) how I do this? And b) should I wait to move to a business account before upgrading or can I do this after upgrading (main question here is, after upgrading would I have to pay for the remainder of the upgraded phone before I could transfer)?

Thanks for this. I have seen this, but it doesn’t answer the question about when to upgrade? Unless I had missed this previously?

I'm not sure either. You could try calling O2 CS Guide: How to find help & contact O2

or call Business on 8002.

Hi you would want to take the business account with the handset that you want and migrate the number over to that account. if you upgrade your current account you will be tied into another contract. customer services can migrate the number over to the business account for you.

Thank you. I will pay up the remainder of my contract on my phone now and transfer and then get a new phone.
