How to here Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If you have used the iphone x at least once with your pay monthly sim this will work:

Log into your myo2 app and at bottom of screen press "view all" then tap device connection - unlock my phone.

Enter the IMEI of the old iphone and submit. You will then get an email confirming its unlocked usually with 24hrs.

If you have not used it with your sim then you need to put your sim in the phone make one phone call then wait 24hrs. Once the 24hrs is up then follow the above.
