Unknown increase in data usage?

The past two months I seem to have used all my data but I haven't used my phone any more than I usually do. I really don't understand why this is happening and why I have such an increase in my data usage! Weirdly, it has also happened to my other half, my mum and my step dad too in the past couple of months!

 

My stepdad and I are running a Nexus 5X and my Mum and other half are running a Nexus 5.

 

The drill down in myo2 is useless and doesn't tell me anything other than i have gone over!

 

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Haha @skitzyd43 although it's nice to be awarded a best answer/solution I think that the first reply in this thread is what took you to the info that solved your problem. Although my answer did mention auto play on videos, MI5 deserves the marked solution.

If u press options in the corner of my post that you've marked, you can revoke the solution then award it to the first reply. Which in turn will help others looking for help in the same situation.

OMG i'm so sorry @MI5!!! I am a complete newby at posting here... lesson learnt! You are quite right @gindygoo it was MI5 that told me how to fix it!! I have changed the award for best answer/solution. I really didn't mean to offend you @MI5. I instinctively hit the best answer because it was the exact thing which has caused it!
