Unknown increase in data usage?

The past two months I seem to have used all my data but I haven't used my phone any more than I usually do. I really don't understand why this is happening and why I have such an increase in my data usage! Weirdly, it has also happened to my other half, my mum and my step dad too in the past couple of months!

 

My stepdad and I are running a Nexus 5X and my Mum and other half are running a Nexus 5.

 

The drill down in myo2 is useless and doesn't tell me anything other than i have gone over!

 

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Have a look in your device settings under data usage and it will tell you what app has used the data.

Could be those auto play videos too? Facebook and other social media have a lot to answer for with their "improvements". I'm glad I removed fb and deactivated the account, I don't miss it at all!

found it!! bl**dy facebook!!!! auto-play video settings have changed back to mobile data and wifi instead of never auto play Thinking fuming! its used 500mb of my 1gb data in two weeks!!!!  thanks for your suggestions everyone! x
