@Hann No one from O2 will contact you. This is your issue and if you are so annoyed about it you should be calling them to get it sorted.
If you want to leave then follow the info about cancelling your contract
https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Cancelling-Your-Contract-A-Guide/ba-p/566774
However you will still be liable for outstanding charges on your account.

Hi @Hann You bill will only be higher if you exceed your allowances. You can check your charges in My O2
If you disagree with the amount charged then you must call customer services. We have no access to your account so give them a call https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

@Hann O2 will not call you. This is a customer community, and no one here has access to anyone else's account. You need to contact customer service. See the link provided above, or you can also call from any phone for free on 0800 032 1402. Best time to call is between 8-8.30 am to avoid long waiting times.

So you could be charged for many things, O2 do not simply just add money onto your account for nothing.
Here are some examples of what could be happening.
1. Charge to mobile, a subscription has been activated on your account weekly or monthly.
2. RPI (only a little bit extra onto your account) (https://www.o2.co.uk/prices) calculator here
3. You're adding additonal bolt ons to the account (DATA).
3. Calling premium numbers which are chargable (0845, 118 087 and much more)
4. Ringing internation numbers.
5. Sending MMS through whats app are sometimes known to be charged for.
Call 202, You will be put on the IVR to navigate you to the right area. The customer service will then explain why your bill has increased.
You will have to call them tho unfortunatley
best regards,
ED

If this ever did happen, you would be justified in asking for a refund.
WhatsApp uses data, either WiFi or mobile and not the MMS gateway.
