Unable to send/receive texts

Hello, i've been unable to send/receive texts for most of day. I've not been able to receive properly. When I try to send I get a 'retry' message a few times, then it sends. My girlfriend has not been able to send at all. She's also on o2 and has been unable to receive texts. Is this a localised issue, or a handset issue? As texting/receiving from non O2 phones has caused no problems. Also, it has been hard to make/receive calls all day. Either not connecting or going to answerphone.

Sounds like a local issue to me. It'd be unlikely for you and your girlfriend to both have faulty handsets.

You could always give customer services a call and see if they know anything.

Thanks, I tried to ring but they're closed now. Trust me to finally decide to phone just after they close.

Just received a message, but still having problems. No idea what's going on.

You checked your message centre numbers??

Message service centre settings
+447802000332 for Pay Monthly, or
+447802092035 for Pay & Go
