Hi,
I appear to be the victim of identity theft and have had two phone contracts taken out with O2 in my name at a previous address.
I am trying to report this to O2 but can't see how to do that via the website.
I spoke with someone over live chat but neither they or their supervisor were able to assist, other than to give me a premium rate phone number that is only staffed Mon - Fri 08:00 - 18:00.
Does anyone know how I can report a fraud sooner than that?
I do not have a landline so will not be phoning a premium rate number from my (other carrier) mobile phone.
Thanks for any help.

You should also report to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.

Thanks for all the replies
O2 were already aware of the fraud so had cancelled the accounts.
I've also reported to Action Fraud, and will look into my credit history to see what else they managed to get away with... so far it sems like they got 3 iphone 6's, an iPad, and a watch. They were turned down for credit on a TV as the address details they gave didn't match.
So far, it seems like all I've lost is my time but I feel bad for whoever bought all the stolen goods.
Merry Christmas.

Thanks for reporting back @Anonymous. At least the accounts are cancelled so you don't have to worry about that.
Merry Christmas to you as well...:smileywink:

Personally I would never take the risk of buying from eBay. Yes people do and that's the problem, there is always a buyer and there is always someone only to willing to take their money.
