Trying in vain to cancel a new handset which is neither wanted or required. My elderly father took a sales call earlier today and next thing I know he gets an email confirming a new iPhone 13 in en-route. O2 website absolutely useless going round in circles to find customer service contact. Tried messaging on FB but no reply as yet. Any help????

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you –

See links below

Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Odd, as O2 never call anyone - 3rd party, trusted partners do, and they can be ruthless. I bet the figures quoted to your dad missed out the VAT to make it sound cheaper.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this up until 10pm.

The sales team on 0800 081 0255 but unlikely you will get through until the morning now, call at ça 08:15am. All other numbers here:

Good luck.

Hi thanks for the replies. I can access my fathers O2 account and emails and see the phone order has been processed and due for delivery tomorrow. I've tried calling customer service multiple times this morning, shortest wait time quoted at 30 mins. Tried going on live chat via his O2 account, again no advisors available. Been messaging again via FB messenger today and still await response. To say I'm not happy with this is an understatement.

Would you be able to refuse the delivery, @kev4791? Then it is returned to O2 and they have no option but to cancel (going by a few queries on here where courier failed to deliver...).

Just a thought.

If you refuse delivery it will sit in a warehouse at the courier, and the op would probably be charged for the time as o2 will say they weren't informed, until they got the phone back....
