A couple of things you can try.
- Reboot the phone
- Turn off auto network selection and try a manual search
- Remove and clean the sim card and then try again
- If you have an iPhone, check your APN setting. If it is idata.o2.co.uk then try changing it to mobile.o2.co.uk or vice-versa
