Transferring my old number

I ordered a new iPhone XS which came Sunday. When ordering I entered by PAC number and asked for my old number to be transferred to the new phone. My old SIM has stopped working but my number has not changed and I am still on a temporary number. With the current situation I am unable to get help online or over the phone so I wondered if there is a delay and other people are experiencing this?

Based on the number of others asking the same thing, yes I think there is.
When you say your number has not changed, where are you seeing this - when you call/text someone, or when they contact you, or in the phone itself @KylieRN1988?

@KylieRN1988 Were you transferring your number from another network? If you were already with O2 you didn't need to use a PAC.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

There are clearly system issues at the moment.

Many people on here asking the same question and have the same problem.

I think all need to be patient whilst the sytem has chance to be sorted out.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
