I’ve purchased two additional SIM’s for family members. Unfortunately I’m unable to transfer their existing mobile numbers keep getting a fail validation email message from O2. I also tried to set them up a MyO2 account to see if that solves it but their O2 numbers are linked to my account (main) so can set-up.
I just want to transfer their existing numbers to my account & set-up the loyalty scheme! Never thought moving to O2 would be so difficult!!

You need a PAC code from your old network provider you can get this by send a text message to 65075 with the word PAC from the mobile number you wish to keep, once you have the pac codes ring customer service on the new o2 numbers and explain you'd like to migrate your old number over onto us and they'll take the pac code from you and it should take 24 hours.

I hope this helps with the problem then once this is sorted we could help you out with setting up the my o2 account.

Hi WB213,

If you are trying to move numbers from anther network over to O2 and getting a fail validation email, you are best contacting O2 over the phone from your O2 mobile by ringing 202 which is a free call. You can then give the adviser the PAC numbers and they will complete the process for you.

I hope that helps.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I’ve got the PAC number for both mobile accounts I want to transfer to O2. I’ve completed the online form but keeps getting rejected via email. Can’t get hold of anyone from O2

Lots of numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

The one ending in 4005 is best.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
