Once the device plan is paid, you continue to pay for the airtime only, unless you cancelled?
How refresh works here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-guides/How-does-O2-Refresh-work/ba-p/1014093

Where did you take your contract from?
Only o2 contracts will reduce after 2 years when the phone/device is paid for (as explained in the link above).
If you got it from CarphoneWarehouse or another 3rd party then the price you signed up for will continue on.
If you have finished the 2 year term, then you can either switch to a SIMO (Sim Only deal) or take a new contract depending on what you prefer/is correct for you.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

@Anonymous Did you have an expensive tariff as that’s the only way you be paying that amount for an airtime plan or did you acquire the contract through an independent which means it’s a standard 24 month contract
